Election Candidates Announced

Earlier this evening, Chancellor, HSH Lord Jonathan, announced the official candidates for the Diasporic List election.

The candidates are as follows:


– Lord Andrew Musgrave, Baron of Corinium Terentium
– Lord Karl Friedrich, Duke of Bohemia
– Lord Mick Griffin, Baron of Glainamar
– H.E. The Right Hon. Sir Hugh McFarlane, KCA
– H.E. Prof. Sir Sanjib Bhattacharya, KOB, KCA
– Mr. Ortiz Augusto Javier

Non-residential subjects will be contacted before the date of the election with further information on the candidates and instructions for how to vote.

The election has been scheduled for 9 December 2024.

The Times followed up with the Chancellor to inquire on candidates for the local Town elections. While no official list has been released yet, the Chancellor provided us with the following information:

  • Lord John Gordon, Viscount of Thetford will be standing in Caldari.
  • No official candidate has been announced in Nahona but it is expected that Lord William Wilson, Duke of Taysha will stand for re-election
  • As of the time this article was written, Chalcedon has fallen out of contact.

Who is Andrew Musgrave? Lord Andrew Musgrave is the Prime Minister of Austenasia and one of its longest-serving officials. He joined Austenasia in 2013 and has served as Governor of Corinium Terentium since December of that year. After holding several government positions, he became Deputy Prime Minister in February 2024 and was elected Prime Minister in September 2024. During the constitutional crisis and interregnum of 2025–26, Musgrave also served as Lord Protector and Regent to the Crown. He relinquished those powers upon the accession of Johannes Karl I Augustus in July 2026 and continues to serve as Prime Minister.
