Lord Protector Attends Woolsack Races During Visit to Corinium Terentium

Lord Andrew Musgrave, Lord Protector and Prime Minister of the Empire of Austenasia recently travelled to Gloucestershire, where he attended the annual Woolsack Races before paying a visit to the Austenasian territory of Corinium Terentium.

Following a thorough inspection, officials confirmed that the territory remains present, the trees remain loyal, and the Sun continues to function as expected.

Corinium Terentium has been governed by Lord Musgrave since 2013 and was named in honour of Emperor Terry, Austenasia’s first monarch.

Held each year in the bordering historic British town of Tetbury, the Woolsack Races are among the more eccentric traditions of the English countryside, featuring competitors racing uphill while carrying heavy sacks of wool. Despite the questionable wisdom of voluntarily sprinting uphill with additional weight attached, the event once again attracted large crowds and a lively atmosphere.

The Empire of Austenasia intends to continue increasing real-world engagement through events, travel, media projects, and public appearances over the coming months.
