Noodle, Lord Andrew Musgrave’s pet cat, has been appointed as Chief Mouser of the Realm, the Government announced today.
While it remains unclear whether Noodle has ever successfully apprehended a mouse, observers have noted a strong commitment to appearing professionally vigilant near doors, windows, and suspicious looking shadows.
Lord Protector Andrew Musgrave welcomed the appointment, stating that “Austenasia recognises the importance of dependable public servants in all areas of national life.”
The Government of Austenasia wishes Noodle success in her role and looks forward to many years of loyal service to Crown and Empire.
